The Zoom Lebron III feature just launched on nikebasketball.com yesterday and they added a super cool feature called, ‘Blog This’ that allows bloggers to instantly copy and paste code into their blogs. Once the code is in place, the latest Zoom Lebron III video plays directly in your site. Check that out and btw, the video is hot, hot, hot. Big up to Cartman and crew!

NAPSIZE.com

October 10, 2005

nap_size.jpg

NAPSIZE.com is the Japanese equivalent of vintagekicks.com. There are no real deals on this site, but that’s to be expected of a consignment store. NAPSIZE opened it’s ‘brick and mortar’ doors in 1997 as a very small import shop in Tokyo that sold mainly Air Jordans and Air Max 95s. The NAPSIZE retail store has been a staple in the Japanese sneaker culture and has now opened it’s doors to the overseas customers via it’s web site. The site is put together in English and priced out in US dollars.

BAPE for your Desktop

October 5, 2005

bape.jpg

For all you stinking BAPE heads, check out the BAPE website. It only runs as a desktop executable which is a bit odd. Not sure why they wouldn’t just run the site experience as a full-browser takeover? Anyway, the download-able is entertaining and well designed.

Download the bape.exe file right here.

Air Jordans and plastic garden chairs morph into Aboriginal masks and skeletons in the work of Canadian artist Brian Jungen. Jungen’s work explores the current tensions between indigenous and global cultures by transforming ordinary consumer goods into emblematic sculptures. This exhibition marks the first comprehensive survey of Jungen’s work from the past ten years.
